Unique stage experience, without a stage. This is street.
As a regular Rock Herk festival goer, you are undoubtedly familiar with the Rock Herk Street stage. Not your typical stage, because it’s not physically there. But this is exactly what creates a unique experience. Band and crowd become one, and can not only hear, but also feel and even smell each other.
Rock Herk was awarded the title of “Best festival without festival meadow” by Studio Brussel after the summer 2023 festival season. This proves the Street stage has made a lasting impression on our visitors, considering we have several other stages set on grass. Being part of the band, together with many other music lovers enjoying the party as much as you do: that’s the feeling we want to chase.
On 22 April, 2023, we put together the first Rock Herk Street Show in the city center of Herk-de-Stad. On the streets of course, as the name suggests and as it should be. With a solid line-up, we ensured tickets sold out in no time. That’s when we knew Rock Herk Street Show was here to stay. Several times a year, we promise.
